cr permissions.
Since Nill has been in and out of three different games now, she's had a lot of cr over the years. She's also been in games that didn't allow for previous cr to be remembered at all unless that character was in-game and their player gave permission for that. Because of this she's sort of used to not being able to remember things probably, which makes it much easier to wave away previous cr if that's your preference! I am more than happy to do whatever makes you guys most comfortable.
If for some reason you would like your comment screened, or don't want to do things publicly at all, please feel free to either say so in your comment or drop me a PM.
And so, the list of previous cr!
Miles Edgeworth: was a close friend of Shikamaru's, and for awhile Shikamaru talked about going to his world with Nill someday. Nill didn't entirely believe in what Edgeworth did, but she believed he was a very kind person, and that if he believed in it then maybe that made the difference.
Baccano!
Claire Stanfield: lived in the boarding house during Nill's stay there, and they kept in contact as associates even after she moved out. He left her a knife after he disappeared that she still has with her.
Chane Laforet:, who also seemed to enjoy baking, who also had telepathy, was also mute, and also lived in the boarding house. Nill liked her, though they never had much in the way of conversations. She knows that Chane and Claire loved each other very much.
Elmer C. Albatross: Nill never found out that Elmer was from the same world as Claire. But she was part of the mission that went to Elmer's world, and therefor unintentionally a responsible party in the destruction of his world after the United Earth followed their trail there.
Batwoman
Kate Kane: Kate seemed like a very capable woman, and though they didn't speak much Nill found herself looking up to Kate a little because of how capable she seemed to be and how strong she was.
Blade of the Immortal
Rin Asano: ran the boarding house that Nill lived in after Minako disappeared. She was a nice girl who Nill was fond of, though she was prone to asking questions that could get her in a lot of trouble. By a strange twist Rin was in Exsilium as well.
Bleach
Uryuu Ishida: Uryuu was Shikamaru's boyfriend. He made Shikamaru happier than anything else ever did, and so Nill vowed to protect him at all costs, even long after Shikamaru had died.
Gin Ichimaru: Rin please stop hanging out with questionable people.
Szayel Aporro Granz: If Nill ever sees this man she will almost absolutely try to kill him. Maybe not right then, not right away, but Nill has had to do some horrible things in her life, and this man would be deserving of every single one of them.
Breaking Bad
Jesse Pinkman: The man that Nill bought her extra powers from. She purposely kept him at as much of a distance emotionally as she could so that she could manipulate him later if she needed to. She regretted this a great deal at the time, but not enough to stop doing it. Later he would make a point of trying to alter his history, and Nill selfishly hated him for it because of how it would effect her own history. Not long after he sunk further and further into drugs, and Nill could no longer remember why she cared about him at all.
Saul Goodman: Jesse's lawyer. He was a smarter man than Nill would have expected.
Walter White: The person literally responsible for pretty much every single horrible thing that happened to Jesse, and every horrible thing that Jesse did after that. He was an extremely dangerous man, and though Nill never got the chance or quite had her reason to, she fully intended on killing him if she needed to in order to keep Lisbeth safe from the poison Jesse was likely to start puking with Walter around. (She was not proud of that fact.)
D.Gray-Man
Allen Walker: He was one of the first people Nill ever celebrated having her birthday with, and she decided that day would be her birthday after that (as she doesn't know it). He was also one of the only people willing to help Nill when she first became telepathic. Allen left and a different version of him returned, and Nill got to see him more than she ever did the previous Allen.
DOGS: Bullets & Carnage
Heine Rammsteiner: appeared in sirenspull briefly, and spent the majority of the time fighting with Giovanni. He wasn't around for long, but he was fairly disturbed by the things he found out Nill had been through.
Badou Nails: stuck around for longer than Heine, but Nill has trauma with redheads and had changed a lot, and she wasn't sure what to say to him anymore. Despite this, Badou treated Nill no differently than he ever had.
Giovanni Rammsteiner: is someone Nill didn't actually know in canon, but who showed up and made a point of threatening her. She will never forget him now.
Lily: A young, scared girl that Nill managed to befriend. Despite lily's akwardness, it wasn't difficult to figure out that the cause of her discomfort was the collar at the top of her neck. It wasn't hard to notice that she kept thinking about someone named Heine, too. Nill came to the realization that Lily leaving Exsilium would probably mean death for her, and Nill promised Lily that it wouldn't happen. Lily disappeared one day anyhow.
Harry Potter
Sirius Black: He threatened Shikamaru, and Nill threatened him back. In return, he called her nothing, and she never forgot the day someone actually voiced how terrible her name is.
Hellsing
Seras Victoria: She worked on the police force in NeoGenesis with Shikamaru, and appeared in Siren's Port after a long time. She is the closest to a motherly existence Nill has ever known.
Homestuck
Davesprite:Dave was the first person to introduce Nill to doomed timelines. He was one of the only people that made her enjoy life when things got really bad, and she visited him in the hospital when they were both half dead of guilt plague. He was a good friend to her, and she missed him very much when he left. ☒
Jake English: wasn't someone that Nill knew very well at first, until she realized how lonely he was when all of his friends disappeared. Knowing full well how that felt, she decided to stick around and be his friend when other people couldn't be.
Auto-Responder (AR Strider): was the second "Strider" Nill really got to know. She realized early on what he was, and they got into a few arguments about limbs being difficult (or easy) to keep. She fed him when he ended up in Jake English's body for a week and didn't know how to use it properly.
Bro Strider:Dave and Davesprite's older brother/father, who Nill knows is dead. ⓧ ☒
Dave Strider:This Dave appeared not long after Davesprite disappeared. Nill wasn't sure what to think of him at first, and they didn't really talk until Nill drunk texted him one night to ask him if the Davesprite in his world was okay. They didn't really talk again until the night he saved her life, and they've been close friends ever since. He picked up where Davesprite left off on the information about different timelines, and effectively rid Nill of her complex about not being "real", but instead put the full horror of doomed timelines in her head. When Exsilium was falling apart, Nill managed to pull off one last trick and make sure that Dave didn't stick around long enough to die on the island. She made sure he got into a portal that would hopefully take him home, knowing that he would probably forget everything about the Port. ☒
Rose Lalonde:Nill knows a decent amount about her thanks to looks in both Dave and Davesprite's heads. ⓧ ☒
John Egbert: offered to take Nill flying. Sweet kid. Diedwith Dave.
Karkat Vantas: Quite possibly the most awkward person Nill has ever met, but he seems like a good kid underneath all the yelling. Was one of the people to call Yosuke a moron after he publicly proposed to Nill over the network and she was still stuck staring in horror. ☑
Dirk Strider: The younger alternate universe version ofDave and Davesprite's brother/father. Nill doesn't know him well, but she thinks they have a sort of a mutual understanding about keeping an eye on Dave. Nill had a lot of money, so she anonymously gave him $100,000 for Christmas so he could pay the bills for his friends. He never found out.
Kanaya Maryam: Nill met Kanaya in Exsilium, and though the two never grew particularly close, they had a quiet kind of understanding between them. They both knew they had been through a lot, and they were both excepting of their limits. Kanaya sought Nill's help on a number of missions for the Initiative, and they worked together quite well. Despite not being close, Nill genuinely liked Kanaya very much.
Feferi Peixes: Feferi was all over the place when it came to helping out the Transports, so Nill saw her on more than one occasion helping people, and sometimes received help in return.
Kagerou Project
Kano Shuuya: A boy who told constant lies, even though he didn't seem to like himself for doing so. After a little while he and Nill realized that they were both liars, and because of this they became just a little closer. They talked about the kind of lives they wanted, and after months of being an adviser to the Mekakushi Dan, Nill asked if she could join. He dubbed her as member #15. Nill didn't see him again before he disappeared from Exsilium.
Kido Tsubomi: Nill originally became interested in the Mekakushi Dan when they were trying to recruit members. The entire purpose of her going that day was, in part, to make sure that none of them got hurt. She has experienced more than one world where being open about having powers is extremely dangerous. But as it turns out, the children of the Mekakushi Dan did a lot more good for Nill than she did for them. They took her on as an unofficial adviser, and followed her advise, but they also helped her on numerous occasions, as well as slowly showing her how to be happy again. Kido was probably the most accepting out of them all, and she was a wonderful leader.
Shintaro Kisaragi: Shintaro was the oldest member of the Mekakushi Dan until Nill joined, but she never actually found out about that. He always seemed a little on the awkward side, and though they didn't speak much, she always got the impression that he was deeply uncomfortable.
Kingdom Hearts
Replica Riku: called himself Joe Fieldman while Nill knew him. They went on a date once and it was quite possibly the most awkward thing to ever happen in the history of ever.
Ventus: Ventus was a nice boy, who looked just like Roxas. Nill thinks they must have been brothers.
Xigbar: Xigbar was responsible for nearly killing Nill the night thatDave saved her, although she doesn't concretely know it. Still, she's suspicious of him.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Kyubey: Tried to talk her into a contract. She asked enough questions to find out what soul gems were. Almost took him up on it anyway because she wanted to be strong, but she was talked out of it by Shikamaru.
Marvel
Tony Stark: Nill knows pretty much nothing about Tony personally, but she saw him on the network half a dozen times. He was not subtle. However, when Nill requested help with transferring files from one device to another, Tony was the one to volunteer his assistance. They never really interacted much beyond that. ☑
Millenium Trilogy
Lisbeth Salander: She reminded Nill heavily of Shikamaru after he disappeared. At first their relationship was primarily business, but the more Nill got to know her, the more she adored her. Lisbeth was the only person that knew Nill killed someone when it happened, and the only thing she was upset about at the time was Nill getting caught. Nill believes that Lisbeth deserved much better than the person she ended up loving. Lisbeth ended up in Exsilium after awhile, and Nill grew more and more concerned for her, but was largely unable to do anything. At Nill's request Lisbeth pierced her ears.
Naruto
Shikamaru Nara: He was Nill's oldest and greatest friend by the end of things, though he was also her downfall in a lot of ways. Shikamaru was the person who told Nill that their lives were a lie back in NeoGenesis, and he was also the one responsible for her and the rest of their small group of four making it out alive, though he was also the person that told her their lives weren't real. After most of her friends had died, he was the only person left behind. They had a quiet kinship, and they went through hell and back together a dozen times. He taught her to use guns and knives, and is largely the reason she was able to become stronger. Nill owes her life to Shikamaru more times than she knows how to count, and she was completely crushed when he died.
Naruto Uzumaki: Naruto made up the third part of Nill's family after Shikamaru and Yosuke. He was one of the happier members. Unlike Shikamaru and Yosuke, he disappeared, but Nill assumes the version of him that she knew is dead.
Sakura Haruno: Nill only talked with Sakura briefly the few times she was in and out of the Port. They argued once, but otherwise Nill formed no major opinion of her, outside of her being from Konoha.
Chouji Akimichi & Ino Yamanaka: Nill didn't have the opportunity to know them very well, but she loved them because Shikamaru loved them.
Itachi Uchiha: Itachi was an amazing influence in Nill's life. He was one of the first and only people to treat her as capable and able to take care of herself. Like most others, Nill assumes the version of him that she knew is dead.
Hidan: He was Shikamaru's "brother" in NeoGenesis, and a horrible influence in his life, before and after they all regained their memories. Nill has mixed feelings about him.
Sasuke Uchiha: Nill has met twice, and she really, vehemently hated him both times. He treated Ino like trash until the day she disappeared, and Nill wants nothing to do with him.
Asuma Sarutobi: He meant the world to Shikamaru, and he died. ⓧ
Obito Uchiha: He had just died when Nill met him, but he seemed like a nice kid.
Madara Uchiha: Rin please stop hanging out with questionable people.
Pandora Hearts
Gilbert Nightray: From the time Nill arrived in Siren's Port to the day she left, Gilbert was probably the friend that stuck around for the longest. He understood Nill better than anyone, and by the time she left Nill trusted him more than anyone, even more than she had her own family. During her time in the Port Nill trusted Gilbert with a lighter that had belonged to Shikamaru and that she hadn't been able to get rid of yet, and Nill was more than willing to take the burden off her shoulders. He also helped her to make sure that Spencer died, and he did not judge her for it, maybe even believed it was the right think like she did. She made a point of saying goodbye to Gilbert in Exsilium, even though he didn't really know her the way he should have, and she also said goodbye to him when Siren's Port was caving in on itself. Nill would have done anything that Gilbert asked of her, though he never did.
Oz Vessalius: He means more to Gilbert than life itself, and as such Nill decided if she ever needed to, she would protect him without question, despite not actually knowing him.
Vincent Nightray: Gilbert's brother, who seems to do an awful lot of questionable things. A good shot.
Elliot Nightray: Gilbert's other brother, who he held a lot of regret about, and who is no longer alive. ⓧ
Jack Vessalius: Nill spoke to him once, but she would recognize him because she was doing recon at the time. She has no idea about his true nature... yet.
Xerxes Break: Nill met him while he was driving a very expensive car in Gilbert's body, but he delivered flowers to her from Yosuke. Definitely a strange guy.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians / Heroes of Olympus
Nico di Angelo: During their first conversation Nico was incredibly honest with Nill about something that he had no need to share with her, and it left a permanent good impression of him on her, as well as immediate trust. She made it a point to look after him and try to make sure he was taking care of himself. She was even more glad that she did so after Nico left. No one made a note of his absence on the network.
Bianca di Angelo: It's not hard to tell that Nico misses Bianca a lot. ⓧ
Jason Grace: Nill didn't really get to know Jason very well, but he seemed like a good kid. He was somewhat suspicious of others, but he was also honest about this suspicion, which isn't something you get to see in people very often.
Persona 3 Portable
Minako Arisato: She used to run the boarding house that Nill lived in. They never really spoke, but Nill saw her on a semi-regular basis before she disappeared.
Persona 4
Yosuke Hanamura: is the person that took Nill in when the man she was living with disappeared. She stuck by his side for years until she decided he was treating Shikamaru poorly and shoved all of his mistakes back into his head from her point of view. They didn't talk much after that until he died. By some strange stroke of bad luck, Nill ended up caring about the next Yosuke to the point that she was sure she loved him. He also proposed to her, though after a huge public spectacle she turned him down. They stayed together in Siren's Port until he died, moments before she did.
Souji Seta: He was one of the only people from Yosuke's world that Nill ever met. She blamed the first Yosuke not wanting to stay with her and Shikamaru on him, and viewed him as a living symbol of a lot of things wrong in the lives of her family. He gave Yosuke a bottle of vodka for his birthday, which Yosuke nearly poisoned himself with after Souji disappeared. Despite the fact that Shikamaru told her that he was a good person, Nill still hates him to this day.
Skins US
Stanley Lucerne: A stoner kid that she smoked with once or twice. She also tried to make sure that he ate, but she wasn't very good at keeping track of him. Stanley was the boy who brought the Exile girl up to the spaceship when they all escaped, and he was the one to inform everyone of when the girl stopped existing because of the changes they had made in the past. Because the girl saw the mushroom cloud that had enveloped her home and everyone she loved, Nill could never decide if what Stanley did was a good or bad thing.
Supernatural
Mary Winchester: Mary was responsible for bringing Newcomers together in a lot of things, especially when they all rioted after they found out about the second Newcomer Hunt. Nill mostly knows her by seeing her around, since she was around a lot.
Chuck Shirley: is God. Nill doesn't think he's a bad person, but she can't help but hate him a little bit. She's also pretty sure he's an alcoholic, which sort of explains a lot.
Castiel: He healed Nill's wings after she was attacked by Xigbar's heartless, and Nill mostly didn't want to talk to him at the time because he was an angel, and she has issues with the idea of god, especially after talking to Chuck. He immediately ended up on her shit list when Leviathan!Castiel killedDave and John.
Tales of...
Zelos "Kaneis" Wilder (Tales of): Zelos honestly told more lies than truth, but Nill knew that about him from the start. And despite all his lying, when Nill told him about all the titles she'd had over the years, he concluded that she was "just Nill." That coupled with being able to tell that even though he lied often, it was almost always justified, and Nill trusted him right away. Not completely, but it was a very good unintentional way to get by. He was a good friend, and he forgave her for the lies she told him. He gave her a pair of earrings that she actually pierced her ears in order to wear, but she no longer has the earrings or the piercings. Though Nill knew his real name, Zelos went by Kaneis, and she always made sure to call him that.
Seles Wilder: Kaneis's younger sister. Nill always got the impression that he cared about her much more than he wanted to let on. She met Seles once or twice but never spoke to her a lot.

He immediately ended up on her shit list when Leviathan!Castiel killed

That said, I would happily like to have their CR develop in a similar way because it sounded really adorable.

That would be lovely, but we'll see! Nill's known like four different Daves that weren't Davesprites (she kinda got resigned to them not knowing her/not being the save Daves) and had pretty different cr with all of them. The one mentioned was just sort of the most substantial, since she never became close with the others.
WHOOPS ALSO for the sake of ease I'm gonna have Nill not remember Bro either, since she literally had one network conversation and then just knew a fuckton from hanging out with Dave and Davesprite.

Understood! Thank you again for being so chill about it. <3

Edited to add that her thinking he's similar to someone but not being able to place it, ala Dave, is a-ok.
